"Find another provider. Way too high for coverage and in October 2023 they increased their rates again. I am 29 yo, was paying $340 for a 2015 vehicle, nothing on my record. Just called to cancel my policy and when asked if I’m still with statefarm and said no got a rude and unhelpful service in return when trying to understand how information and refunds get processed. “Well it takes underwriting 1-3 weeks to get anything done..” Ok, good to know. I’m canceling the policy today tho, so I shouldn’t be charged from today on is what I was trying to understand. Wondering if they would have tried to keep my months payment if I didn’t ask for a number to call to expedite the process. It should not take a whole months policy and fees timeframe to cancel a policy to try to not give me my money back for the prorated daily amount. (It just went through 3 days ago so most of the month is unused). Going with Progressive and paying literally less than half."

"This agent and the people that work at this office are the rudest and most incompetent people I've ever encountered. They discontinued my insurance after I said I was switching and set a date to stop. I decided to stay and informed them well before that set date. They still canceled my policy and then for over a month keep saying "they are working on reinstating it" which never happened. I can not register my vehicle because it states I have no insurance which is 100% State Farms fault and this staff. I get nothing but rude comments with someone who thinks shes always right and has no clue about customer service. Then she lies about trying to help and fails to call back. Stay away from this agent and his team. He must've picked that lady off the streets from some ghetto part of Largo and hired her, because there is no way anyone would have hired a a rude and incompetent employee unless it was for a favor. Go else where. By switching to Geico I saved a lot of money."
